Because of this they are serviced differently than gasoline engines. It is important to replace the fuel filters and air filter every 15,000 miles. This engine has a major problem with its EGR valve. To keep the valve operating properly we recommend BG's EGR service every 15,000 miles. This service cleans carbon from the EGR valve and the intake manifold to keep the EGR valve from sticking.
